The 2026 Windsor Eco Monarch Festival will take place on September 12, 2026 on the Windsor Town Green!

Join us for the Windsor Eco Monarch Festival, a vibrant, family-friendly event celebrating sustainability, environmental awareness, and the protection of the endangered monarch butterfly. This unique festival brings together art, nature, and community for a fun and meaningful day in Windsor Center.

About the Festival
The Windsor Eco Monarch Festival is part of First Town Downtown and supports the Windsor Monarch Project. This initiative is dedicated to preserving the health of monarch butterflies through raise-and-release programs, creating pollinator habitats, and educating the public about their importance to our ecosystem.

Butterflies are a key indicator of a healthy environment, and this festival helps raise awareness while bringing the community together.

In addition to environmental benefits, butterfly habitats are a common point of interest for many tourists. Your investment in the Windsor Eco Monarch Festival will also serve as efforts to bring in more foot-traffic on the River Trail and in Windsor Center. The butterfly habitat will be a great addition for Windsor residents and visitors alike.
