TIF District Public Hearing Monday, Oct. 17
The Windsor Town Council will hold a public hearing this evening at 7:20 p.m. in the Council Chambers to review and discuss the following:

Authorizing the Creation of the Windsor Center Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District and Adopting the Windsor Center Tax Increment Financing District Master Plan.

The proposed Windsor Center Tax Increment Financing District incorporates primarily B2, NZ and R-8 zoned land fronting on Poquonock Avenue, Palisado Avenue, Bloomfield Avenue, Broad Street, Union Street, Central Street, Mechanic Street, Batchelder Road, Maple Avenue and Court Street. All as more specifically depicted in the proposed Windsor Center Tax Increment Financing District Master Plan available here - https://townofwindsorct.com/economic-development/tax-increment-financing

The creation of the Windsor Center TIF District has been recommended to the Town Council by the Economic Development Commission, as well as the Planning and Zoning Commission, and would help fund many of the initiatives that First Town Downtown has advocated for to enhance the downtown.

Please come out to the meeting and support this effort.
