In the 80's he was in a very popular band called "Smokestack Lightning". From there he joined a North east institution..."Motown Review" and played up and down the East coast. In 1992 Gene left the "Motown Review" in order to start his own group, "Gene Donaldson and the StingRays". With this band he has shared the stage with some of the Blues most respected artists. During this time Gene also toured with a number of blues artists as a sideman including Lee "Shot" Williams, Phil Guy, Eddie Kirkland, and Mary Taylor. He has also appeared on stage with blues artists such as Johnny Rawls, and Lucky Petterson. Currently Gene released a CD in the Spring of ’09' Come out for dinner at one of our local Windsor restaurants and then enjoy a concert on the green now through August 22nd! Summer Concerts are a location in the e-Passport contest, too! You have till August 31st to finish your Passport! * Concert rain dates are the following Tuesday * Enjoy a pre-concert dinner at a Windsor restaurant * Shop at the local Farmer's Market from 3:30 - 6:30pm    | |||||||
