Mark your calendars and bring your appetite! On Saturday, June 13, Dom's Broad Street Eatery — voted Best Breakfast in Connecticut — will turn every meal into a gift for Windsor's students. From 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, a portion of every sale at Dom's (330 Broad Street, Windsor) will go directly to the Windsor Education Foundation (WEF) to fund innovative educational programs in Windsor Public Schools. Whether you're a breakfast lover or a lunch regular, showing up that day means you're feeding more than just yourself — you're fueling the next generation of Windsor students. Owner Jason DiBella is donating a percentage of the day's total sales to WEF, making this one of the easiest ways you'll ever support your community. "He does so much for Windsor. And everyone loves his food," said WEF Board Member Kandyce Aust. Windsor High School students will also be on hand throughout the day, rolling up their sleeves to support the cause alongside board members. "We would not be able to provide Windsor educators with grant funds if it weren't for the generosity of the people and businesses in Windsor," said WEF Board President Paula Pierce. "We are so thankful to have the support of our community." The Windsor Education Foundation supports excellence in public education by funding creative, teacher-driven projects and programs across Windsor Public Schools.
