Upcycled Planter Challenge

Upcycled Planter Challenge
Linda McAllister's 2023 planter

Designers, artisans, and local gardening enthusiasts will be crafting butterfly-friendly planters from a variety of unusual items. We expect to have about forty upcycled planters on display at various sponsor locations and on the Windsor Town Green for the challenge this year on June 22, 2025.

Vote for your favorite planter and the designer with the most ‘likes’ will receive a prize! You’ll also have the unique opportunity to take one of these artistic, one-of-a-kind planters to your own home, by bidding for it in the online auction.

Designers, sign up for this year's Upcycled Pollinator Planter Challenge!

We'd love to see your planters in progress! Please send photos to wmp@ftdt.org with a description of your work. We may use some of your photos and words in our publicity for the event!
