Windsor Adult Education Presents: Learn to Make a Quilted Tote Bag Wednesdays, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, 3 wks starting Oct 9 - Oct 23, 2024. Tuition: $49 Material Fee: $25 (Please pay the material fee in cash to the instructor on the first night of class.) Students will learn to construct an attractive, large, quilted tote bag that can be used to carry your computer and work files, your farmer's market shopping haul, necessities for an overnight stay, a diaper bag, or any other errand where a large tote would be useful. We will teach how to construct the basic bag which can be adapted to any size in future projects, how to add interior pockets, how to add a zippered secure pocket and a magnetic closure. This class is for an intermediate sewist or advanced beginner. Students MUST bring a working portable sewing machine in good condition to class. Test your machine before you arrive to be sure it is working properly. We are unable to assist you if your machine is not functioning when you arrive at class. You may bring your own materials. However, we can supply full kits containing all materials needed for the class to complete the tote bag, the zippered pocket, and magnetic closures for $25.
