Happy Valentine’s Day Talk and Workshop
Why do we celebrate Valentine’s Day and what is the meaning behind the symbols we see on historic valentines? On Saturday, February 14, get answers from the intricate Valentines of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries shown in a Powerpoint presentation. Then if you care to, create a valentine masterpiece for someone special inspired by your own imagination and the historic valentines in the presentation, using a valentine kit with beads, feathers, sequins, doilies, ribbons and more. Delectable chocolates and valentine treats served. COST: $10. WHS members will receive a $2 off coupon to be applied toward future programs.
