Fishing For Fun!
The shad always return to Windsor Historical Society! No bones about it – it’s time again for some shad-themed fun! Children pre-K to grade 5 will enjoy fin-tastic outdoor activities including fishing for prizes, photo-ops with Queen Roe-Ena, shad painting, shad cooking demonstration, and more! All children will receive a festive derby hat, prizes and craft activities to take-home. Join the fishy fun from 11 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, April 29, at Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Avenue, Windsor.

Register in advance or just stop by on Saturday! Advanced registration: $5 per child or $10 per family. Same-day registration: $7/child or $15/family. 860-688-3813 or windsorhistoricalsociety.org for information or online registration. (Event: Saturday, April 29, rain date: Sunday, April 30).

Windsor Historical Society is proud to be a member of the Windsor Shad Derby Festival Bureau, and Fishing for Fun! is one of many exciting celebrations and events leading up to the traditional Shad Derby Festival on the Windsor Town Green on Saturday, May 20. We hope to see you there!
