Free Acupuncture Day Celebrating Expanded Hours at Many Rivers
Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is pleased to announce that it is expanding its hours beginning July 14. To celebrate, they are hosting a Free Acupuncture Day on Sunday, July 12 from 2 pm – 6 pm. Free acupuncture treatments will be provided for all new patients. To schedule a free treatment, please call (860) 683-0011.

“Acupuncture works,” says Many Rivers owner, Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. “But sometimes people have trouble fitting acupuncture into their busy schedules. The more appointment times we have available, the easier it is to find a convenient time for a treatment. We are excited to expand our evening appointments to accommodate those who like to get acupuncture at the end of the day, so that they can relax and unwind after work.”

Starting in July, Tuesday evening appointments will be available from two practitioners. Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. will continue to provide treatments from 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm. In addition, Mary Cole, L.Ac. will provide acupuncture from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

“Our new clinic space at 775 Bloomfield Avenue is large enough that we can have two acupuncturists working at the same time,” says Mary Cole, L.Ac. “While I worked at Manchester Acupuncture Studio, in Manchester, NH, I often worked on shifts with more than one acupuncturist. I loved it. The more people in a community clinic, the more peaceful it becomes. The quiet sounds of everyone napping together is an amazingly soothing experience.”

Many Rivers offers appointments Monday through Saturday. Morning appointments are available from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and evening appointments are available from 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Treatments are available on a sliding scale from $15 - $35, plus a one-time $10 fee for new patients. The clinic is located at 775 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor.
