American Red Cross Certified Babysitter’s Training Class will be held at 330 Windsor Avenue Community Center from 9:00am – 3:30pm on Saturday, April 22. Babysitter’s Trainingis designed to teach 11-15 year olds how to: respond to emergencies with first aid, rescue breathing and more, make good decisions under pressure, communicate effectively with parents, recognize safety and hygiene issues, manage young children, feed, diaper and care for infants, and start a babysitting business! Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certification card. $90.00 per participant. Offered by the Youth Services Bureau.
