FAQ:
Where can I find something to upcycle into a unique planter? Check Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace - they both have FREE sections. Also every town in America has a Buy Nothing Facebook page, for example BUY NOTHING WINDSOR You can join if you're a Windsor resident, and post your need for a free chair, or free item/materials that could be used for a planter. Your local dump might have a shed with free offerings too, like the Windsor Transfer station does.
I want to paint my piece what paints do you recommend? Outdoor latex, or outdoor and patio acrylic craft paints. Varnishing your piece if needed. also helps to preserve longevity of a planter.
