Windsor’s Fire Inspector To Discuss Fire Safety for Seniors
On Thursday, August 13 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Lauri Volkert, Windsor’s Fire Inspector, will present an interactive workshop on fire safety.

The presentation will be held at the Caring Connection Adult Day Health Center at 330 Windsor Avenue in Windsor and the public is invited.

“This workshop was developed specifically for seniors but there is a lot of useful information for the entire family,” Ms. Volkert said. “Our goal is to provide information that will allow older adults in the home to be as safe as possible for as long is possible,” Volker added.

This is the second of three workshops for seniors and caregivers given by Windsor’s Fire Inspector. The next one will be held in September.

There is no charge for this event but those wishing to attend are asked to call 860-547-0251 so that adequate space can be made available.
