Pasta Dinner Fundraiser To Help Local Child With Cancer
WINDSOR, CT – Hailey has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a very rare type of cancer that almost always affects children and has begun her second round of chemo therapy. Less than two years old, Hailey is the daughter of Windsor Volunteer Firefighter and Connecticut National Guard Soldier, Chris Pinard.
Supporters have organized a fundraiser, a Pasta Benefit Dinner, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 3 at the Hayden Station Firehouse, 54 Basswood Road, Windsor. Cost is $10 per person in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets are available Monday evenings 6 – 7 p.m. at the firehouse.
Windsor Volunteer Firefighter, Mike Bigda says, “This beautiful, smart, wonderful little girl is fighting the biggest battle she will ever have to face. I am so happy to see so many people willing to help in whatever way they can. Please join us at our firehouse for dinner and show of support. Thank you.”
The event features all-you-can-eat pasta with meat balls, sausage, fresh bread, salad, and dessert plus soft drinks. There will be a Silent Auction with many items donated by local businesses.
