On Sunday, May 3, 2015 Mary’s Place, A Center for Grieving Children and Families, will be hosting its 3rd Annual Memory Walk on the Windsor Town Green, 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT from 9:30—11:00 a.m. “Memories Worth Walking For” is dedicated to celebrating and honoring the memory of those close to us who have died.

The idea for this fundraiser came from a teenage participant who wanted to develop an event which would include the children. This moving fundraiser brings together families, friends and the community to support programs at Mary’s Place. Honor the memory of your loved ones and help make a difference in the lives of grieving children, teens, and families by joining us for this family-friendly event. All are welcome to participate.

Registration must be received by April 24, 2015 to guarantee a T-shirt. Sponsorship deadline is April 24, 2015. Cost: $20 for adults, $10 for children under 13 years old. Mary’s Place, A Center for Grieving Children and Families, a non-profit organization in Windsor, provides a safe place in which children, teens and families who are grieving a death share their experiences, receive support and find comfort. The center serves families throughout Connecticut and Southwestern Massachusetts. All programs are offered at no cost to the families. The center relies on donations and fundraising to run its programs.
