“Some people are nervous about trying acupuncture for the first time,” said Many Rivers acupuncturist Heather Finn, L.Ac. “Our Free Acupuncture Day provides an easy way to give it a try. People can’t believe how comfortable acupuncture is and how relaxed they feel both during and after the treatment.” With cold and flu season approaching, acupuncture is a great way to help boost your immune system and reduce pesky allergy symptoms. Many Rivers’ experienced acupuncturists treat all kinds of seasonal disorders, including runny nose, nasal congestion, itchy eyes, sinus headaches, clogged ears, and frequent colds. Many Rivers’ acupuncturists also specialize in treating pain, including arthritis, injuries, tendonitis, and post-surgery pain. They are trained in Balance Method Acupuncture, which utilizes special points on the arms and legs to treat pain anywhere in the body. In fact, many patients feel relief immediately during their first treatment. Many Rivers is part of the community acupuncture movement, which is working to make health care affordable and accessible. Acupuncture treatments are provided on a sliding scale of $15 - $35 per treatment (plus a one-time new patient fee of $10). Many Rivers is open Monday through Saturday, with evening appointments scheduled until 7 pm Monday through Thursday. The clinic is located at 775 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor, just 1/2 mile from I-91. For more information, call (860) 683-0011 or go to http://www.manyriversacupuncture.com. |
