St. Gabriel School Hosts April 24 Color Run;
Community invited to join school in getting fit, doused in color!
St. Gabriel School will host a My School Color Run, engaging its student body and the community in a fitness initiative that encourages a life-long healthy way of living, while raising funds for the school. Open to the public, the Color Run begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 24,2016, at St. Gabriel School on 77 Bloomfield Ave. in Windsor, Connecticut. During this untimed, two-mile fun run/walk, participants will experience color splash zones where they will be doused in color. Register online now through April 23 at www.StGabrielColorRun.eventbrite.com. Early registration is $15 per child, $22.50 per adult, or $72 per family of four by April 1. Afterward, late registration is $20 per child, $27.50 per adult, and $92 per family of four. Register by April 11 to receive a race bib, t-shirt and color packet used in the post-race color celebration. “We’re extremely excited about hosting a My School Color Run at St. Gabriel School,” says principal Patricia Martin. “We’re looking forward to involving our entire student body and faculty in this fun and healthy program. We invite the community to join us, and we welcome local businesses and individual community members to get involved.”
