The Town of Windsor, Connecticut, Human Relations Commission Will celebrate her life, and the other victims lost and wounded, in a remembrance of their lives and their courage through a program of togetherness song and prayer and inclusion. Program will take place at the Windsor Town Hall Council Chambers,Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 7 p.m. not only to touch Kim Morris and her family, but all members and families of the LGBT community andthe community at large. “I received word through the commission’s liaison of how this tragedy touched us here in Windsor and was asked if the commission will be doing anything;I took a half pause and without hesitation, the answer was an emphatic yes!!!” Said Chairman Kevin Washington, who will serve as the master of ceremonies in a celebration of life, unity, culture and understanding. “We want to involve the entire community to show our support to Kim Morris and her family, victims and the community at large in solidarity. We hope that everyone will come join us in loving memory of those lives lost or forever altered.” Said commissioner Washington Donations will be accepted and forwarded to Equality Florida for the victims and their families. ### |
