Jam with locally grown musicians Low Ceilings on Saturday, August 19, from 1 to 3PM outdoors on the front lawn at Windsor Historical Society! Known for their folksy, alternative rock with a progressive tilt, Low Ceilings will entertain and rock you with their unique sound. The group will also be joined by local artists of Evan Diem for a full program of great live music and neighborly good times. Admission is $10 and proceeds support the programming of Windsor Historical Society. Soft drinks will be provided, and guests are invited to bring their own chairs, blankets, food, and other beverages to fully enjoy this lively outdoor musical treat. Rain date: Sunday, August 20. Low Ceilings is just one of the Windsor musicians and groups included in the museum’s current exhibit Puritans, Polkas and Pop: Music of Windsor, and featured as part of this Windsor Music Series. Other performers including Nekita Waller, the Windsor Fife and Drum Corps, and the Sage Park Middle School String Ensemble, have delighted audiences and helped make this historical exhibit theme come alive with contemporary musical talent. Register in advance or pay at the door! Register in advance at windsorhistoricalsociety.org, or pay at the door by cash, check or credit card.
