Explore Black Political Representation in Windsor
Over Lunch at Windsor Historical Society

With insight into local politics from current and former elected officials, you won’t want to miss this timely conversation on Black political representation in Windsor. Join us and friends from both sides of the political aisle on Wednesday, November 1, from noon to 1:30 PM to break bread and discuss Windsor’s political history, just in time for election day. This upcoming session of Windsor Historical Society’s popular Exploring Windsor’s Black History Lunch Conversations will focus on the changing nature of Black political representation in Windsor over recent decades. In a town comprised of 52% people of color, why does our town council not represent this demographic more fully? How has this changed over the years? Why has Windsor never had a Black mayor? What might the future bring?

Bring your own lunch or enjoy the light snacks provided at the museum. Free, with advanced registration required at windsorhistoricalsociety.org.
