Make Windsor Historical Society a part of your Black History Month with this engaging conversation about the roles and experiences of Black women in Windsor! You won’t want to miss Exploring Windsor’s Black History Conversations: Women’s Endeavors, Wednesday, February 28, 5:30-7 PM at Windsor Historical Society. Please note the new evening program format. Come for the food and stay for the conversation!
With a focus on Windsor’s Black women, the conversation will examine how women’s roles have changed over time, how women have been community leaders, and who some of Windsor’s notable Black women have been throughout the town’s history and today. Join Society staff and members of the Windsor community for in-person discussion, refreshments and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Admission is free. Advanced registration encouraged. |
