Exploring Windsor's Black History: Coming to Windsor
Have you come to Windsor from another town, state, or country? What was your experience like? Join friends at Windsor Historical Society for the next Exploring Windsor’s Black History program to hear the stories and experiences of others and share some of your own! This interactive program takes place on Wednesday, July 17 from 5:30 to 7 PM at the Windsor Historical Society.

This program will highlight some of the stories we’ve collected through the Society’s newest oral history initiative, featuring people of all races and ethnicities. With each passing year, Windsor becomes more and more diverse. People from many other parts of the U.S. and the world call Windsor home, and the town’s foreign-born population now comprises 14% of its residents. Are you one of these people? Do you know others that might like to share their stories? We’d love to hear from you!

Admission is free, and a light dinner will be provided. Advanced registration is encouraged to help with meal planning. Register now at windsorhistoricalsociety.org or call 860-688-3813.
