Register now for this exciting class Wednesdays, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm, 3 wks starting February 21 - March 6, 2024. Tuition: $95 Material Fee: $5 (Please pay the material fee in cash to the instructor on the first night of class.) Do you own a digital camera, but are not getting the quality images you want? If so this is the class for you. The major emphasis of this class is to move away from the automatic mode, to shooting modes where you have total control of your camera. Come and learn basic photography concepts such as hand-holding the camera; using the camera's light meter to make properly exposed pictures; focusing the lens to create sharp images; depth-of-field options; and finding the best lenses to purchase. There will be time in class to practice your digital photography skills and discuss your pictures to better understand your composition and how to improve it. IMPORTANT: Please be sure your camera can operate in non-automatic modes, such as Manual or Shutter - if it does not and you still want to take the class, that is fine too.
