In celebration of Black History Month, the Windsor Freedom Trail Committee presents the “Black Inventions Exhibit” in collaboration with Sage Park Middle School and Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. It will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Sage Park Middle School Auditorium and Gymnasium, 25 Sage Park Road, Windsor. This internationally known, multimedia, traveling museum pays tribute to America’s unsung heroes, Black inventors and innovators. It reveals many surprising facts and highlights the accomplishments of Black Americans in the fields of science, health care, aerospace communication, agriculture, transportation, and engineering. Come and view a video documentary and over 150 authentic artifacts, including patent designs, personal letters, rare photographs and brief biographies of Black American inventors. A scavenger hunt will be available for added fun and discovery It’s an Exhibit for all; a great activity for individuals and families. This event is free and open to the public. This event is sponsored by the Windsor Freedom Trail Committee in collaboration with Sage Park Middle School and Archer Memorial AME Zion Church.
