The Windsor Art Center seeks actors, writers, and directors for its WAC Myths Challenge: A 24 Hour Play Festival inspired by mythology!

Friday, July 17 -Saturday, July 18

What is a 24 Hour Play Festival?
A 24 Hour Play Festival is an evening of short plays that have been created in the span of 24 hours! Yes -That’s right! The actors, writers, and directors will meet on Friday night, the playwrights will receive prompts, and then have all night to write a short play that uses the actors they have been assigned. Early in the morning, the directors and actors meet and spend the day rehearsing the plays. At 8PM on Saturday (24 hours later), the short plays are performed! For full details, see the schedule below.

How can I be involved?
The Art Center will need actors, writers, and directors -so there are lots of opportunities to help! If you’d like to participate -please fill out the 24 Hour Theatre Sign Up Form (found at: http://www.windsorartcenter.org/calling-actors-writers-and-directors/) and either email completed form to Amanda, amanda@windsorartcenter.org or mail to the Windsor Art Center at the address provided on the form by Wednesday, July 15th for priority consideration.

We’ll still be taking registrations through Friday, July 17, however, signing up by the priority deadline ensures you have a spot and will be considered for your first choice position.
