In 1992 Gene left the "Motown Review" in order to start his own group, "Gene Donaldson and the StingRays". With this band he has shared the stage with some of the Blues most respected artists. During this time Gene also toured with a number of blues artists as a sideman including Lee "Shot" Williams, Phil Guy, Eddie Kirkland, and Mary Taylor. He has also appeared on stage with blues artists such as Johnny Rawls, and Lucky Petterson. Currently Gene released a CD in the Spring of ’09' |
