She has performed on stages big and small in Boston, New York, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Jamaica, Foxwoods, Las Vegas, opened for Kool & the Gang and is a former anthem singer for UConn basketball. Tomaca's rare vocal versatility is reflected in that fact that she sings RnB, Motown, Rock, Show Tunes and Opera. Although the marching tunes of K.L. King, Sousa, R.B. In the 80's he was in a very popular band called "Smokestack Lightning". From there he joined a North east institution..."Motown Review" and played up and down the East coast. In 1992 Gene left the "Motown Review" in order to start his own group, "Gene Donaldson and the StingRays". With this band he has shared the stage with some of the Blues most respected artists. During this time Gene also toured with a number of blues artists as a sideman including Lee "Shot" Williams, Phil Guy, Eddie Kirkland, and Mary Taylor. He has also appeared on stage with blues artists such as Johnny Rawls, and Lucky Petterson.
