Gene has been playing guitar for the last 35 years. In the 80's he was in a very popular band called "Smokestack Lightning". From there he joined a North east institution..."Motown Review" and played up and down the East coast. In 1992 Gene left the "Motown Review" in order to start his own group, "Gene Donaldson and the StingRays". With this band he has shared the stage with some of the Blues most respected artists. During this time Gene also toured with a number of blues artists as a sideman including Lee "Shot" Williams, Phil Guy, Eddie Kirkland, and Mary Taylor. He has also appeared on stage with blues artists such as Johnny Rawls, and Lucky Petterson. Currently Gene released a CD in the Spring of ’09' 2017 Concert Schedule
The 2017 FTDT Farmers’ Market is gearing up for its 9th season! This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.
The Farmers’ Market runs every Thursday June 29 - October 19 from 3:30-6:30pm and is located at 240 Broad Street in the center of Windsor.

Grab your boots and get ready to dance. First Town Downtown is hosting its 2nd annual Hoe Down Saturday, October 14th 2017 at Grace Episcopal Church (311 Broad Street) at 7:30pm.
