Be a part of the solution! Join First Town Downtown members and volunteers on Saturday, September 24th for a Windsor center clean up! We need your help to pick up trash that has accumulated around town, especially on our sidewalks and alleyways. Join our group of volunteers at 9:00 am in front of the FTDT office at 161 Broad Street and get started. Gloves, bags and bottled water will be provided. Community service hours will be available to students and youth groups who assist!
First Town Downtown’s Farmers Market takes place every Thursday this summer and fall through October 20 at 240 Broad Street from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm.. Enjoy a variety of fresh, locally grown produce and specialty items like gluten free baked goods.

The Annual Windsor Freedom Trail Tour/Walk will be held September 24th from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM starting at Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 320 Hayden Station Road. Walk along this 3.9 mile route with your friends and family as you learn about the rich history of the Windsor Freedom Trail by visiting sites that are associated with the Underground Railroad and African American heritage and movement towards freedom. (A bus will follow the walkers). A Freedom Trail T-Shirt and continental breakfast will be provided for all event participants.
