The Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) has created a $50 million grant program to help our small businesses in Connecticut recover from the ongoing challenges of COVID-19.
Eligible businesses and nonprofits can receive a one-time $5,000 grant and all funds will be disbursed to approved applicants by December 30, 2020.
Applicants must be Connecticut businesses with fewer than 20 employees or a 2019 payroll expense of less than $1.5 million. See the full list of requirements at the link below.
The grants can be used for payroll, rent, utilities, inventory, purchase of machinery or equipment, or costs associated with compliance of the ongoing Reopen Connecticut Business Sector Rules. Applications should be available on November 9th. More info
