Last weekend we installed 18 bricks on the Heritage Brick Patio in Windsor Center, commemorating some of Windsor’s finest citizens and events in their lives. We heard from newlyweds, community volunteers, a beloved teacher, and lives that impacted our community. We encourage you to walk through the Town Green to view this beautiful display. Here are a few photos from the event.
The Monarch Project committee has worked tirelessly to beautify our community with a fun and exciting event. From July 2 - 13 Connecticut residents from near and far will be visiting Windsor Center, where thirty-five upcycled planters will be on display at sponsor locations up and down Broad Street. These planters are being crafted from a variety of found objects and will contain a sampling of butterfly friendly flowers. You’ll want to get here to see them all, because you’ll also have the opportunity to take one home in the online auction. You will also be able to vote for your favorite on our Facebook page, and the planter with the most “likes” will win a gift card prize!
Feeling stressed? Blood pressure rising? These weekly workshops will help! Free of charge and available remotely via Zoom, you won’t want to miss out.
