Windsor Art Center Opening Weekend

Baby it’s still cold outside but it’s always warm and inviting at the Windsor Art Center. We are keeping it interesting in the next two months.

Presenting Cathy Doocy’s Horizons/Transitions show. Cathy’s art is unique, playful and imaginative. Her paintings evoke connections with landscapes in their own memories of place. She has also selected works from her “A Drawing a Day” series for display and gifting. These charcoal drawings are part of 365 works Ms. Doocy did in 2015, one a day. Each visitor during the show may select one of these charcoal drawings to take home while they last.

Opening Weekend is Saturday, January 23, 10a-4p and Sunday, January 24, 11a-4p. Complying with state COVID regulations, we will have an informal opening to spread the number of guests. Masks are required. Grab and Go treats offered FREE!

During this show we will also be sponsoring MAPLE SYRUP THURSDAYS. Visitors to the gallery will take home a bottle of locally made syrup. One to a guest while supplies last.

Cathy will also be giving a virtual artists talk and gallery tour of her studio. Viewing link will be posted on the website.
Informal Meet and Greet………Saturday 1/30 10a-4p and Thursday February 19, 6p-8p

Moving right into February, we will be having Valentine’s Vendors at the center and holding & Raffle. Visit us on Saturday 2/6 from 10a-3p, Sunday 2/7 10-3 and Saturday 2/13 10a-3p. Do a little shopping for your love. Vendor lineup posted on Facebook. Watch for it!

At the end of February, we will have yoga instructor Elizabeth Gibbs speaking and book signing about her newest book, Enlighten Up! This will be on 2/27 from 2-4p.

So much to do and see! Don’t stay inside and miss it.
