Aromas of roasting turkey, aromatic spices, and fall fruits . . . It’s time to mark your calendar, gather your friends and family members and plan a visit to the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead on December 3. The Homestead will be open for tours from 10 am – 2 pm. This year, the tours are featuring lovely new decorations, refreshments for visitors, and, for the first time, a historically-accurate home-cooked meal presented in the dining room. Tickets are purchased at the door: $12 adults, $10 seniors and students, and children under 10 are free. Enjoy the complimentary refreshments, as well. Are you a Son of the American Revolution? If so, we have a special bonus for you. When you come in uniform to the Homestead Christmas Tour on December 3, you receive free admission. Your guests will pay regular admission.
