52nd Annual Kiwanis Shad Derby Road Run And Walk
The 52nd Kiwanis Shad Derby Road Race is on May 18, 2024. This is your chance to be part of one of the longest continuously running road races in the state of Connecticut. Bring your family & friends to help us celebrate! The proceeds support scholarships for Windsor High School graduates. The Kiwanis Shad Derby Road Race is a 5K, accompanied by a 1.5-mile fun walk, for the young ones and the young at heart. Our race winds through the town of Windsor, the oldest town in Connecticut, starting at Windsor Green, along the picturesque Farmington River and back to the Windsor Green. The Kiwanis Club will award racers medallions for the top finishers in individual age/gender categories as well as for the overall men and women’s first place finishers. Free T-shirts given to the first 100 registrants.

Race day entries will be cash or check only.
