Trained as a graphic artist, Lynn started painting over twenty years ago. She has studied with many renowned artists including, Susan Pecora, James Godwin Scott, Tom Lynch, and Zolton Szabo. Just recently, Lynn attended a workshop in the south of France. The light of southern France is well suited to Lynn’s style of painting. Her paintings are mostly clean transparent watercolor, filled with light and shadow. Lynn strives to say more with less, allowing the viewer to put their own feelings into the work. She splits her time between Connecticut and Rhode Island where the beauty of the shore finds its way into her work. Lynn’s memberships past and present include, Wickford Art Association, Tobacco Valley Artists and the Connecticut Watercolor Society. She has received numerous awards in local and regional art shows. Her work is in private collections throughout the US and abroad. The free demonstration is open to all, and will follow a short business meeting & refreshment period. The Windsor Palette and Brush Club is sponsored by the Town of Windsor’s Department of Recreation and Leisure Services, and it holds monthly meetings with art demonstrations on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from September through May, except for December and February.
