Experience an exuberant celebration of cultures with this exceptional program of music from around the world. Audiences will enjoy the lilt of a jam session at an Irish pub, a rollicking Tarantella from Italy, the appealing rhythms of nouveau flamenco from Spain, the warmth and passion of Brazil, the rhythmic poetry of Eastern Europe, the hard-swinging elegance of Gypsy jazz, a sweet love song from Taiwan, the sultry sounds of a Middle Eastern melody and more! Handler and Levesque have performed over 1,500 concerts together in the United States. Their sophisticated and expressive arrangements blend classical, Brazilian, Latin American, klezmer, gypsy, jazz, Celtic and folk music influences to create a unique and extraordinary sound. This, matched with their impeccable musicianship, has won them a widespread enthusiastic following. Their CDs Passion, Two Guitars Live! and Acoustic Blend have received critical acclaim and have been sold in dozens of countries throughout the world. They have performed for festivals, arts centers, universities and museums, some of which include Troy Music Hall, International Festival of Arts & Ideas, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Hudson River Museum, Roger Williams University, The University of Connecticut, The Bushnell Performing Arts Center, and The Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s Musical Dialogue Series.
