The Northwest Park Concert Series offers a night of spirited Irish Music with a global twist with Cady Finlayson on February 28th at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Park Nature Center in Windsor, Ct. Called “one of America’s top Celtic fiddlers” by New Age Voice magazine and “bursting with pure and natural talent” by HotIndieNews.com, Cady Finlayson offers a spirited fiddle show with a global twist. Cadys' music blends traditional Irish tunes with world beat rhythms and american folk, creating a signature sound that appeals to young and old alike. A seasoned veteran violinist with three solo albums to her credit, many works with other bands and movie soundtrack work, Finlayson is both a “violinist” and a “fiddle player”! She is equipped with the musicianship and chops of a concert violinist with the feeling and spirit of a good old fashioned fiddler! Vita Tanga will accompany Cady on guitar. Vita has performed and recorded on four continents, from radio City Music Hall to Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris - his hometown. He is a sought-after composer in the World/Urban music and film scoring scene. Together Cady and Vita present a high-energy show that appeals to a wide variety of audiences.
