From 3 pm – 6 pm , the acupuncturists at Many Rivers will provide free, mini-acupuncture treatments to all guests. Talented musicians will play live music in the treatment room, making this a uniquely relaxing experience. Tibetan Singing Bowls will be performed by Marie Menut of Vibrational Healing, Crystal Bowl Sound Healing Meditation will be played by Chantal Haracsy, and a classical violin serenade will be provided by Nate Strick. Acupuncture treatments will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservation is required. Both new and returning patients are encouraged to come enjoy this incredible healing modality. “It’s a time to share and to celebrate,” says Many Rivers owner and licensed acupuncturist Carrie Sawtell. “We wanted to do something special for our fifth anniversary. Bring your friends, bring your family, and allow the needles and the live music to work their magic.” Since opening their doors in 2011, Many Rivers has provided over 35,000 affordable acupuncture treatments. Sawtell says of their success, “The community’s support for Many Rivers has been overwhelming. We would not be where we are today without the incredible word-of-mouth marketing our patients do on our behalf. Parents tell their children about us. Friends tell co-workers. Doctors tell their patients. And because of this, we have grown to a staff of three acupuncturists and are open six days a week.” Many Rivers provides affordable acupuncture on a sliding scale of $15 - $35 per treatment. Many Rivers is located at 775 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor. The cross-street and entrance to their parking lot is at Addison Road Extension.
