Singer/songwriter and guitarist Kenn Morr has the rich baritone of a radio announcer and the pure empathetic charisma to enthrall crowds of any age. He grew up on Long Island, NY, and now resides in Colebrook, CT. Inspired by the melodies and lyrics of Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon, Graham Nash and Jackson Browne, Kenn has recorded nine CD’s and his music has received glowing stateside and international praise. It’s often called Folk-Rock, Americana or Roots music, but his songs transcend labels and exude heart. The Kenn Morr Band are Bob “The Animal” Gaspar (drums, percussion), Tom “Magic” Hagymasi (mandolin, violin, bouzouki, accordion) and Pat Ryan (bass guitar, backing vocals). The band’s latest release is Afterimage (2014) a 2-CD set of Kenn’s best songs recorded live in studio without any overdubbing. Known for its close three-part vocal harmonies and fiery instrumental interplay, the group has been together for several years, becoming fast favorites on the outdoor festival scene.
