First Thursdays in Windsor

Dates:

Starts on March 4th, 2010 and occurs every month on the first Thursday of the month.

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce, First Town Downtown and Windsor Businesses are offering specials, entertainment and events on First Thursday March 4th from 5-7 PM. Enter at each location all day to win a March Madness Package

In the March Madness Package are TWO tickets to the March 21st Wolf Pack game against the Providence Bruins and if you bring your own skates, there will be free skating for an hour after the game! Tickets provided by Action Carpet.

Along with the game is a four foot grinder provided by The Bart's Beanery, a massage from Hairdresser on Fire, and a 3 month gift certificate to the Windsor Gold's Gym Provided by the Windsor's Gold's Gym.

She presents captivating programs of folk music, dance, and spoken word, entwining a moving explanation with stories from her life and artistic journey. Aubrey is in great demand for performances and workshops and has performed in over thirty-five states as well as Canada, England and Ireland. She plays the mountain dulcimer, old-time banjo, guitar, mandolin, and Irish tin whistle and understands traditional American and Celtic folk music history and key players. Windsor Public Library - This popular movie series shows old motion picture classics on the library's big screen on the First Thursday of the month. Movies are selected from audience suggestions and represent a wide range of stars, themes and genres.

All of the movie showings are free and open to the public. The meeting room doors will open at 6:30PM and the movies will start promptly at 7PM.
