Economic Enhancement Committee
Our Economic Enhancement Committee is about restoring downtown's economic health. Focus is placed on not only existing businesses, but on the long-term goal of reconfiguring the mix of goods and services to make Windsor Center balanced, adaptable, and competitive. Members of the Economic Enhancement Committee learn about the current economic condition and identify opportunities. They also work with property owners to reinvest in their buildings as well as finding new economic uses for buildings and lots to enhance the marketability and value of real estate and the center as a whole.
Strengthening the existing economic base of Windsor Center while diversifying it with compatible new businesses.
FTDT's Board decided that since Windsor was not in desperate shape and in need of restructuring, they changed the name to the Economic Enhancement Committee. This group is working on a market analysis of the downtown, marketing material for businesses, business retention and recruitment, and general business support.
