2005 Founders Hall

Quantity:
$20.00
Completing the north end of the school's original quadrangle and situated between the Loomis Family Homestead and the Headmaster's House, Founders Hall opened in 1916 as the primary classroom and administrative building of the Loomis Institute. The New York architectural firm Murphy & Dana designed the stately and symmetrical Georgian-style building in Flemish Bond brick and limestone. With a dormered roof, a cupola and a chapel that extends to the west, the building has become the school's hallmark. Founders Hall has changed little over the past 90 years, and it remains the heart of the campus today.
